Heart 'n' Soul gone in a week.. Part I

Paolo Maldini.. The Legend.. The Soul of Milan..Il Capitano said goodbye to Milan after the last league game against the Viola. After Roma broke our heart in his final game at the San Siro this was the best way we could bid farewell to the best defender of all time. We won 2-0 and qualified directly for the next season's champions league. The Viola fans gave him a standing ovation and they put up some very insprinational banners all over the stadium to acknowledge the end of a great career. This was a great gesture by them especially after the treatment given to him by the Curva Suds in his last home appearance. Its hard to imagine that some douche bag "fans" put up banners disrespecting a guy who has done so much for the club. He has been such a humble servant to Milan football. An inspirational figure for the youth, a great motivator and a dashing captain who gained respect throughout the world, be it the players or the fans. In this day and age when most of the players are switching clubs, no money talk could lure him away from us. He started his career with us in a youth team and ended it as a Rossoneri. His sheer presence on the field used to inspire our players to perform. Most o' my pals support English clubs and they gave him a standing ovation in front of the TV. I had tears in my eyes when he was leaving the feild. Even Inter fans have their utmost respect for Paolo. If it was in my hands I would change the meaning of the word respect in the dictionary to Paolo Maldini. Damn its hard to describe him in words. This is my way of giving him a farewell- Thanks for everything that you have done for the club and the we will never be able to fill the void that you left behind as a player and as a person. We wish you all the best with your life and hope to see you as a manager of AC Milan in the future.
Grazie Paolo
Forza Milan

Season summed up

Friday, April 17, 2009
Milan have ended yet another dissapointing season. No trophies won and 3rd in the scudetto race. The big player that we all hoped for after last season's debacle was R80 and he was warming the bench for a significant part of the league. Though I never wanted Dinho in the team, I always had great admiration for the man. He started o' really well and made very serious contributions in some of the early wins for us. Then he allegedly got injured and was benched by Carlo. He never wanted R80 and as the league went into the mid stage it became more clear that it was the publicity trick played by our very own B&G. We had injury problems throughout the season and I've said enough about them all over my page. Having some no good superstars like Seedork, Pirlo, Dida and the bullshit defense ensured that there was no way we could get a trophy. Leave aside that we were in trouble of losing a direct qualification spot to the CL. Then there was this whole drama about David Beckham. People do believe that this too was a B&G special and they maybe spot on but d guy did perform in some matches. Still I hope that he heads back to LA with his dumb wife Coz I can never see him as a Milano. The management has screwed up big time by buying had been superstars when we needed some rebuilding. There have been no reinforcements in the Defence line apart from Thiago Silva who will be eligible to play in the next season. The fans now expect them to buy something more useful as the sole purpose of bringing in money cannot win you respect and trophies.

I See.. Bullshit

Monday, April 13, 2009
So I finally log onto my blogger account after 7 long months and I did not miss it at all. Thats because all I would have done on my page is swear against the club that I cheer for.
I see Milan crawling behind Juventus on the 3rd spot, far away from Inter and the scudetto glory. I see a club bragging about its past and letting the best opportunity (IMO) to win the league go. I see a manager that plays favoritism. I see injuries and an impotent medical staff. I see the goals changing from scudetto to Uefa Cup to 2nd spot and now a direct entry into Champions League. I see a defence that has never been so vulnerable. I see Seedorf (playin?). I see the old legs when average ages of squads are dropping like the sensex. I see Berlusconi who doesn't know and doesn't seem to care. I see talented youngsters not been given a chance. N i see a lot of excuses..
Of course I see the heart of Milan declining the shiekhs.. Our Kaka!! N i see the only bright spot in a cloud of darkness.. Pat00!! Ohh.. Did I forget Becks? Thats because I don't see him as a Milano.
When will Carlo see what all of us Milan fans see??.. Or will he be the 'Dhritrashtra' of Italy??.. Anyways I think he'll be gone to Chelsea if Hiddink leaves them. The only problem that Milan has right now is Carlito and I think all of us will see the Milan of Old(New/Young??) if he leaves. No disrespect to the great man I think thats enough of his Bullshit. Btw that was the first real swear word in the entire post.
I won't be writing much about the matches that are to be played in the season except for Juve and Roma. It will be more around the off field stuff.. Cheers!!

Luck is a 'BIGG' factor!!

After AC Milan got their second defeat in as many matches I expected a lot of excuses. Excuses they were. Its better if they get their their minds on something that is more worth.

Official Notes on the Milan site:

  >> "The Rossoneri are still bottom and unlucky with their shots".

  >>   "The Rossoneri were incredibly unlucky as they tried to force an equaliser near the end, as they came close to equalising through Pato, who came in for Flamini in the second half"

Pato on Milan's loss :

Personally I tried to do my best and during the goal scoring opportunity I had, Rubinho was very lucky.”
We did not play badly, but unfortunately we lost.

Can't you people give me a smarter excuse than this. Move over luck and fortune man. Rossoneri have been unlucky since the last season. I don't know when the luck's gona shine on us. And Mr. Pato?? He's was tired of saying how unlucky he was so he just started blaming poor Rubinho's good luck. Seriously if he can't score from that position then he better stop partying around. I've seen him spill dolly's and it can't be luck everytime

Bonera :
"Milan is always used to win"..

Well it was, sometime back. Right now I am getting used to seeing Milan lose to not so good outfits.

Marco Borrielo:
"We did our best"

Pato again:( M sick of his comments, he better start scoring)
"The entire team did its best"

Are you shittin me?? Was this the Best?? Now whats Zurich gona do to us??

Is it over for Carlo??

I hope I had not seen Milan against Genoa. What a mess of a team has Carlo made out there?? The Rossoneri have lost 2-0 against G(GIANTS). Not a glimpse of the Champions league winners could be seen. Now Mr Galliani, don't say we were freaking unlucky coz we just didn't play football. We don't need Ronaldinho when he's gona be playing just one half. We need a good CB not Favalli. I think Carlo will play Favalli even if he's injured. Sheva has not created any sort of impact so far and seems unlikely that he'll even score this season, barring deflections though! And Pato?? I think he needs to take up Olympics as a career because thats all he can do, run!! He missed a sitter today and it could have been 2-1 for Milan had borro scored just moments later. Kaka??.. When you see him diving on field, you know something is not right. He's just not CR!! Maldini??.. I have no idea what he was doing on field. He should have retired at the end of last season coz we could see even Adebayor fooling him around. Frankly, he would not fit in more than half of Serie A teams. Feel sorry for the players coz there's nothing much they can do if the manager does not know how to do his job. Wanna know why we are calling for Carlo's head??.. Well its gona be a long night>>

1. Played Favalli. FAVALLIIIIII?????
2. Took off R80 after the half n got in Seedorf?? You need goals and you take out your best attacking option for an old hog??
3. Why cant he play 3 strikers when 2 are not working( Kaka didn't look like a striker)?? Why cant it be a 3-4-3?? You need goals and thats what you need to do.. ATTACK
4. When we were starting to play, he took off Flamini n got in Pato. Why Flamini?? Ambro played the full game?? It should have been Pato for Ambro
5. Or better, he could have been dynamic. taking that freak Favalli off for a 3-4-3 would not have been a bad idea
6. Please start with Marco. He looked the best attacker on field today. Atleast he tried.
7. Since you bought in Senderos, now take some load off Paolo's shoulders.
8. He always blames it on luck.
9. Played FAVALLI for 90 mins.
10. Bump++ Played FAVALLI for 90 mins.

Go Carlo go.. We've had enough of your shit.
Forza Rijkard!!
or even Donadoni???????

Sandro not in for Uefa Cup

Saturday, September 6, 2008
Milan have left out their best defender out of the 25 man squad for the Uefa Cup. Sandro Nesta, who has been out of the Rossoneri team in their recent campaigns due to injuries, is battling with a back problem and has missed the pre-season games and the first one against Bologna. Ancellotti has chosen 10 defenders for the Uefa Cup including veteran Paolo Maldini.
Watching Milan's first game against Bologna, which we lost 1-2, I am not sure our defence looks ready to take on the big guns and even put up a challenge. But I still feel that this is the right move as we have to make sure that our best defender stays fit for the Scudetto. I guess thats our priority this season and besides that Sandro won't be able to cope up with the all the pressure as he is still recovering. So is it a bye bye to European Cup for this season?? Not sure about that. I think the inclusion of Maldini indicates something. The plan might be to use Sandro in the league when he gets fit and Paolo's services will be required mainly for the Cup, plus he can always fill in the League too and provide some order and experience. We surely are making some tough moves. Lets see if its worth it. Milan begin their Uefa challenge on the 18th sept against Zurich
 FORZA ROSSONERI!!

San Siro Form(??).. A Disaster

Thursday, September 4, 2008
5 Great transfers, best club in the transfer window, loads of promises and attacking play expectations!! Now who would have thought that these things would not make any difference to Milan's  terrible form at the Giuseppi Meazza. The Rossoneri began their Scudetto challenge by losing their first match to the newly promoted Bologna with a scoreline of 1-2. Bologna gained the lead in the 11th minute but Milan equalized at the stroke of half time through an Ambrosini header assisted by R80. We did have a lot of shots on goal and many on target, but were unable to add to Ambro's effort. And then a late strike by Bologna sealed the game.
It would be unfair to say that we did not see any changes in the Milan strategy and gameplay from last season. Ronnie played a perfect game, showed glimpses of his great talent that won him footballer of the year and we hope this is just the start of his new life. With the score at 1-1, Carlo made a surprise move, a kind which we don't normally associate with Milan. He took off Jankluvoski and brought in the Hero of Milan, Andriy Shevchenco. So Milan's attacking intentions were clear. But intentions don't make a difference, do they?? Sheva was not much effective in his comeback game.
This might take some time for the new guys to settle in the team and gel with one another so I am not reading much into this defeat. But the central defence still worries me. If Bologna can break up this defence so easily, what are the likes of Inter, Juve and Roma gonna do to us?? Hoping to see Kaka soon, possibly against Genoa. Last but not the least, Abbiati. I feel sorry for this guy. He played some great pre-season friendlies and didn't do much wrong against Bologna either. Thats the way it is now FRANK!!
Next Match>> Milan Vs Genoa at Stadium Luigi Ferraris on the 14th September, 2008
